Yeah there can be a few occasional nitpicks at times like when the writers do to make him forcefully say somethings that seems quite uncharacteristic of himself, At times not being a team player in the tournament of power showing his tsundere-like outburst despite how good he was when showing his cooperation with goku and others against majin buu in the previous show, or even getting piccolo to forfeit against frost and YES, he is still prone to being a secondary main character because goku as usual is the main protagonist BUT that doesn't stop him from being the most utilized and fleshed out character of the bunch for his many moments like him protecting Krillin and Bulma in the ROF Arc, Giving piccolo warning about whis about the higher powers of certain characters as a way to give him some insight of the danger.
